Kerala Police seize more blue films made by controversial Swami Amritachaitanya alias Santosh Madhavan | Santhosh Madhavan


Kerala Police searched the bank locker of controversial Swami Amritachaitanya alias Santosh Madhavan and seized more cassettes of pornographic films allegedly made by him exploiting minor girls.
Media reports proves that 'Swami' excelled in his art.
Reports says that about 25 micro video cassettes were seized from the Federal Bank locker of Santhosh Madhavan.
These cassettes also contained blue films made by Madhavan, they said. Hidden cameras had been installed in the swami's flat and his 'Santhitheeram' guest house to make the films.
Certain media reports that some film actresses also featured in some of the CDs seized by the police from Madhavan's flat,but as per new reports kerala police denied that. Madhavan was arrested here on May 13 in connection with the rape of minor girls and cheating a Dubai-based Keralite woman of Rs 40 lakh.
Let us wait and see how 'swami' will 'handle' the case !!

The grand Malayalam movie ‘Twenty:Twenty' -Twenty:20 to release in 118 theaters


The much awaited Malayalam movie Twenty:20 by the Malayalam Artists Association (AMMA) has almost finished 85 percent of its shooting. The film, is directed by Joshi.

Except Meera Jasmine ,the movie will have all Four Malayalam superstars, three frontline heroines, 67 top line actors, 17 playback singers, maximum release centers, One film-‘Twenty:Twenty', the biggest multistarrer ever to be made in India.This film expected to change the Malayalam film industry in a different way.
The song written by Gireesh Puthencherry starting with ''Ushasssil'' is set to music by Berny Ignacius is a five minute song will be sung by 17 leading singers of Mollywood including Dr.Yesudas and Jayachandran, which will be also a record in Indian music industry.
It is reported that Mammootty plays an advocate opposite Gopika.Mohanlal plays a businessman.Bhavana plays Dileep's heroine.Meera Jasmine is not appearing in the movie.
This multi-starrer film is supposed to release in 118 theaters, the biggest ever release in Malayalam.

‘Kutty Shranku' -Mammootty's first Malayalam movie with Shaji N Karun

Mammootty for the first time joining Shaji N Karun in the movie named ‘Kutty Shranku'.
The Big Name in Movie production Reliance Entertainments is producing the movie.The story of the movie is set in the 1950's which also have the weather playing an important part. The movie which is planned to shoot at backwaters and lakes of Kaavalam, Kumarakom and Vaikkom will use the Monsoon season to can most of its scenes.
The movie will also feature Meera Jasmine in important roles. Shaji is planning to have the premiere of 'Kutty Sharanku' in the famous Venice film festival.
This is the first production from, Reliance Entertainment, in Malayalam.

Kerala Higher Secondary Results 2008 (Kerala HSE (Plus 2| Plus Two|+2 Results 2008)

The Kerala state education department is expected toannounce the Higher Secondary results for academic session 2007-2008 on May 15.
The Directorate of Higher Secondary Examination (DHSE), Kerala will probably post the result on the internet on May 15.
The results can be obtained by the class XII students by logging on to the official website for Higher Secondary Results – keralaresults.nic.in
The result will be announced by Directorate of Higher Secondary Examination (DHSE).

Kerala godman Swami Amritananthachaithanya alias Santhosh Madhavan charged with rape

Another controversial yet interesting piece of news from Kerala.
The Controversial Kerala god man Swami Amritananthachaithanya alias Santhosh Madhavan was Tuesday arrested and charged with three offenses, including rape of a teenager.
Inspector General of Police Vincent M. Paul told reporters that three cases have been filed against Santhosh Madhavan and his driver Thomas.
He added that Madhavan has also been charged with possessing 'ganja' (marijuana) while the forest department has registered a case against him for keeping a tiger skin.
It is reported that a large number of pornographic films were also recovered from his flat here.

Record pass percentage (92.09%)in Kerala SSLC exam 2008

A record pass percentage of 92.09 per cent was registered in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination in Kerala, results of which were announced here today.

Announcing the results, Kerala Education Minister M A Baby said out of 451,464 candidates who had appeared for the examination, 415,744 were eligible for higher studies, recording a 9.8 per cent increase from the previous year.
A total of 6,480 students had secured 'A Plus,' which was 51.79 per cent more than the previous year, he added.
Kannur District recorded the highest pass percentage of 96.4 follwed by Palakkad, which recorded 85.6 per cent.

Shashi Tharoor's professional training academy to open at the Technopark

This is a wondefull news!.
Former UN under-secretary general Shashi Tharoor's professional training academy will open at the Technopark campus in Trivandrum.
According to Mr.Tharoor ,The academy will be world class with state-of-the-art technology and a leading team of professionals who will train students and develop their English speaking skills. The duration of the course is two months and there will be just 20 students per batch. The fees will be Rs.30,000.
The institute will be inaugurated Wednesday in the presence of Kerala Governor R.L. Bhatia, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan and Education Minister M.A. Baby.
Tharoor, who is also chairman of Dubai-based Afras Projects India, and Technopark CEO R.K. Nair had inked the agreement to start the Afras Academy for Business Communications last year. The institute will focus on capacity building for young professionals.

Idea, Etisalat to offer mobile money remittance from the Gulf region to Kerala

Telecom major Idea Cellular Ltd and UAE-based telco Etisalat on Wednesday announced a pilot project for mobile money remittance from the Gulf region to Kerala.
The pilot will have Tata Communications as the central hub for services and HSBC India as the banking channel for funds transfer, company officials told reporters here.
The service will enable expat Indian subscribers of Etisalat in Gulf to transfer money to any designated bank account of an Idea subscriber in Kerala.
HSBC will receive the money through UAE bank and will forward it through National Electronic Fund Transfer to one or multiple designated accounts in Kerala.
Tata Communications will coordinate on both the ends and will generate a SMS for the Idea subscribers as soon as the funds are received in the Idea subscriber's bank account.
