This is another unique step by Kerala government.The Kerala government has decided to implement the 'Aam Admi Bima Yojana' an insurance scheme for the rural landless and homeless in the state.
According to media reports ,Chief Minister V S Achutanandan informed the media that nearly 6.5 lakh people in the state would be benefited.
The cabinet had decided to pay the premium of Rs 100 per family to the Life Insurance Corporation of India, which is implementing the scheme.
Kerala always implemented unique schemes for the people.
The 'Kerala Model' of development is unique in the world and is widely acclaimed.The extra ordinary improvement in health and educational sectors in Kerala is popular across the world.
