Guruvayoorappan' is aslo called '
Unnikannan'.At the start of the current 
yuga, 
Brihaspathi found a floating statuette of 
Lord Krishna. He and 
Vayu installed the statuette in this temple to help mankind in this 
yuga. This legend forms the basis for the names of both the statuette (
Guruvayurappan) and the town.The temple is having the typical Kerala style architecture.Millions of devotees are visiting the temple every year.Non Hindus are not allowed to enter the temple as per the customs.

Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple  Located inside the east fort of 
Trivandrum district of Kerala.The temple deity is 
Lord Padmanabha ,a form of 
Lord Vishnu.The prince 
Marthanda Varma of erstwhile princely state 
Travancore renovated the temple to its present form.He dedicated his kingdom to the deity, and pledged that he and his descendants would serve the kingdom as 
Padmanabha Dasa, meaning "
servants of the Lord Padmanabha".The temple has a seven-tier tower (
Gopuram) and a Tank called 
Padma theertham .
Navarathri festival is among the most famous festival of this temple.
Swathi music festival is held along with this festival.
Sabarimala Temple  Probably this is the most famous temple of Kerala.
Sabarimala Sri Ayyapa Temple is located in the 
western Ghats mountains.

Mahishi.

Sabarimala. From the international airport of 
Thiruvananthapuram (
Trivandrum), to Sabarimala is around 175 km. Similarly, from the international airport at 
Kochi (
Cochin) it is around 200 km.  The nearest railway stations to Sabarimala are 
Kottayam and 
Chengannur (93 km).
