Prithviraj has acted in the high profile movie 'Ravan' recently.
After many years, director Mani Ratnam completed his new project called Ravan (hindi) Asokavanam(tamil).
The high profile movie has Aishwarya rai Bachhan, Abhishek Bachhan, Vikram, Prithviraj, Priyamani in the lead roles.Prithviraj does the role in the Tamil version of the movie.

Another foreign airline starts operation to Calicut(Kozhikode).
Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) will commence flight operations to Kozhikode starting on 31st March.
The global recession has an adverse effect on the travel industry and cancellation of flights are happening here and there.
Recently Bahrain Air announced the start of its Kozhikode operations.

The Boeing B757 aircraft would be used for all flights to the new destination.
SAA already has its service to Kochi.

But In his latest so called action thriller movie 'Sagar alias Jacky', as in many of his recent movies Mohanlal appearing as super human who always emerges triumphant.
The director Amal Neerad tried to make some stylish action thriller but ended up by making a movie which reminds us of the movies like Billa or D Company.
The main features of the movie are the stylish sequences,slow motion action cuts and background music.
Apart from the stylish factors and designer cloths ,private jets and BMW's the movie has nothing to offer.
The movie lacks substance and the lack of strong story kills any cinema.
As in 'Red Chillies' Sagar alias Jacky -Mohanlal- is an international operator and comes back to Kerala to help Shobhana to rescue her husband.In the rescue mission he kills or overpower all villains of Goa and the 'rest of the world'.
Most boring stuff is the young actress Bhavana, who appears as television news reporter Aarathy Menon,does some investigation to expose Sagar alias Jacky and ends up falling in love with him.

'Nayakan' Indrajith's action thriller movie.

Those who ever watched Kamal Hassan's blockbuster movie 'Nayakan' will never forget the movie.The movie was excellent and Kamal Hassan as always showed his master skills in that movies.

Now there is another 'Nayakan' in the making.But this time it is a Malayalam movie and there is no spar stars involved in that.Indrajith Sukumaran will be the star of the acton thriller.Dhanya is the heroine.Media reports that Indrajith appears as a Kathakali exponent who is forced to join the underworld, to take on the dark forces that destroyed his personal life and killed his family.
The movie is the first experiment of director Lijo Jose Pellisserry
Other main roles are handled by Siddhique, Thilkan, Jagathy, Lalu Alex, Sreejith Ravi,Vijay Menon and Rekha Pillai.

JetLite to start Services From Kozhikode To Mumbai

Another good news to Keralites who travels to Mumbai from Kozhikode.Media reports that Jet Airways’ wholly-owned subsidiary JetLite will commence its service from Kozhikode to Mumbai on March 29 2009.It is reported that the new daily Mumbai – Kozhikode-Mumbai flights will be operated by JetLite’s all-economy Boeing 737 series aircraft.

The schedule as follows:

Flight S2 423 will depart Mumbai at 11.25 AM , and will arrive in Kozhikode at 01.05 PM.
Flight S2 424 will depart Kozhikode at 01.35 PM, and will arrive in Mumbai at 03.10 PM.

Recently Bahrain Air announced the launch of service to Kozhikode starting from April-1-2009.

Any way the introduction of Bahrain Air flights to kozhikode will definitely help the malayalis who are working or living in the middle east region.

According to this scheme, the proprietor of a theater has to pay a huge advance amount to the distributor, if the film fails at the box office, the theater owner has to bear the losses.

Is Antony Perumbavoor himself is not confident about the movie?
