So the story of Asianet Idea Star Singer 2007 is over and Najim Arshad wins the crown!.Now it is the turn of another 85 contestants to horn their skills and grab the 1 crore worth villa!.
One good thing is that Ranjini Haridas will not be the anchor, and she is replaced with Ramya raveendran and at least she is speaking good Malayalam.
Let us hope there is no more 'Manglish' from the anchor.
The judging panel also interesting ,but omission of music director Sarath is a surprise. But the decision to keep playback singer M. G.Sreekumar is a good decision.
Good..Let us wait and watch the next SMS and Music 'mamangam'!!!

We don't know whether it is because of the pressure from fans, friends and relatives or the uncertainty over the outcome of the dangerous daredevil act,Mohanlal gave up his idea of performing 'Fire escape' or 'Burning illusion' stunt as a part of inaugural program of 'Vismayam 2008' ,the magical mega show.
It is reported that ,the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists,'AMMA', also asked Mohanlal to move away from performing the dangerous act.The AMMA president Innocent asked him to change his mind.
Any way ,what ever be the reason,Mohanlal decided not to perform the dangerous Act.
Now it is the turn of Gopinath Muthukad ,the magician who trained Mohanlal the stunt, to come up with some kind of face saving act,and he already called the decision unfortunate as months of hard work has gone waste.

After a long journey,at last the Asianet Idea Star singer 2007 came to an end.Even though most people assumed who will be the final winner, the show was capable of attracting huge audience. This is evident from the fact that the criticism attracted by the show.
Many people objected the SMS marketing and the 'Manglish' speaking anchor style.

In my opinion the anchor Ranjini Haridas has done her part in such a way that her 'Manglish' attracted huge criticism among malayalies.Let us hope Asianet will find out another better Anchor who can speak Malayalam properly!!

There were many talented singers ,those who failed to get the 'SMS' support from the audience ,eliminated in various stages. The point here is that ,the show didn't focused on musical talent, but the main focus was on the revenue generation.Obviously Asianet also doing business, and no one can blame them for doing that.

The final mega event ,didn't work well because of the poor anchoring performance by Ranjini haridas, and it was not at all impressive.

Any ways ,next mega event already kick started,Asianet Idea Star Singer 2008,let us wait for the new tricks and trips from Asianet and team for gimmicks to draw maximum money from it's viewers.
