Kerala's second largest IT park ,the Infopark Kochi is in full expansion mode. The Government of India has granted approval for about 31 acres of Infopark Kochi Phase II for setting up a sector specific IT/ITeS Special Economic Zone.The II phase of the park will offer the first plug and play BPO facility in the State.
The Infopark is the second largest IT park of Kerala after the Technopark Thiruvananthapuram. The third IT park of Kerala , The Cyberpark is coming up in Calicut.The Cyberpark Kozhikode already got the SEZ status and the construction activities already started.
The second phase of Infopark Kochi is planned to be developed in 160 acres of land at the Kunnathunadu and Puthencuruz village.The domestic park in this new phase is aimed at creating cost effective infrastructure for the BPO industry.
