The expressway connecting the IT park Infopark Kochi to the airport which is 22 km away, is getting ready to open on June 26th.Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan will inaugurate the expressway.This expressway is expected to reduce the commuting time to the airport and the city from the campus. The 2.6 km stretch connecting Infopark to the Airport-Seaport road will now reduce the time to commute to the airport and the city.
Infopark Kochi is the second IT Park promoted by the state after the Technopark Trivandrum.Infopark has more than 60 companies including Indian biggies like Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro.
The Third IT park of Kerala ,the CyberPark Kozhikode is started its construction activities and already got the SEZ status. It will act as the hub for other IT parks which are being developed at Kannur and Kasaragod.
