Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Thiruvananthapuram will be conducting an admission test for its BTech Programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences.
IIST admission test will be similar to other all India engineering entrance tests. Questions will be of the objective type and there will be two sessions of two hours duration each. It will be based mainly on the CBSE Syllabus of 11th and 12th standards for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The test will be conducted in the third weekend of April, 2010 in several centers across the country.
The major attraction of IIST is that all students who join for the BTech programme of IIST are assured of a career in ISRO.

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Trivandrum offers three under graduate programmes leading to 4-year B.Tech degree in
(a) Avionics
(b) Aerospace Engineering
(c) Physical sciences.

The Institute has taken effort to start M.Tech programme in select areas relevant to ISRO programme. As of today it has framed the curriculum and syllabus for four such courses namely
(a) Adaptive and Applied Optics
(b) Soft Computing and Machine learning
(c) RF and Micro Systems and (d) Chemical system.

To apply for ISAT-2010, you have to apply On-line. For this you have to visit the IIST website (www.iist.ac.in) for On-line registration.
