It is really spicy but bit lengthy and bit difficult to watch a movie for around 2 hours 35 minutes.
The movie is directed by Shaji Kailas and Red Chillies is Mohanlal's first released movie of 2009.The movie has all ingredients with quirky cuts, hard-hitting punch lines and sizzling effects and is really a visual entertainment .

The movie is produced by M. Ranjith under the banner of Rajaputhra Visual Arts and tells the story of OMR (Mohanlal), a Singapore based business magnet who runs an FM radio station and a gang of nine talented Radio Jockeys who get entangled in a multiple murder, drunk driving, disobeying police officers, dancing and singing at a posh bar and drug abuse.
Biju Menon and Siddique are handling the roles of investigating officers and Thilakan as Biju Menon's father.

Other major roles are handled by Vijayaraghavan, Ganesh Kumar, Vijayakumar, Jagadeesh and Manian Pilla Raju.

Mohanlal's punch line 'Onnum Marakkilla Rama' will definitely become a hit among his fans.
But Mohanlal who single-handedly takes on the system to rescue his girls and safeguard the reputation of his empire is bit indigestible!!Only Mohanlal's fans can digest that.Is it another larger than life character from Mohanlal??
