The largest Christian congregation in Asia,Maramon Convention,is once again set to commence on the banks of River Pamba at Maramon.The convention brings together Marthomites , bishops and priests from across the world.
Mar Thoma church is conducting the maramon convention.
Maramon is situated on the banks of the Pampa river, about 20 km from Thiruvalla near Kozhenchery.The Maramon Convention is conducted annually since 1896 and the convention will be held this year from February 15 to 22.
This is a unique occasion where Christians from all over India come to listen to the gospel as read and expounded by the scholars of Christianity from India and abroad.
Preaching, bible study, religious reading and discourse sessions are conducted during the convention.
