Kerala is getting ready for big leap in IT and IT enables industry.It is aggressively developing IT infrastructure across the state.
The hub and spoke model of development will span across the state.The hubs will be Technopark Thiruvananthapuram,Infopark Kochi and Cyber park Kozhikode.The other IT parks will be developed under these three hubs.
Recently Kerala chief minister V.S Achuthanandan laid the foundation stone for 'Athulya' Kochi Infopark's new SEZ space .
Along with the presence of three international airports and the new airport coming up in Kanur will provide further attraction to the IT investors in Kerala.
Majority of the IT professional are working outside Kerala or abroad.This is because Kerala has very few or less than 10 major MNC's and majority of the companies in Technopark and Infopark are small sized companies. Once Kerala became a major IT destination ,many of these professionals will come back to Kerala.
