Do you remember the wonderful, entertaining and romantic Hollywood comedy 'Casanova' directed by the famous Lasse Hallström?The acting genius Heath Ledger has perormed stunningly in that movie.
Now Roshan Andrews is bringing the 'Casanova' to mollywood.
Mohanlal will play a Casanova in the costliest Malayalam movie ever made.
The 10 crore movie titled 'Casanova' narrates the story of a Casanova who not only runs after women but also runs the most successful international flower business based in Vienna in Austria.(The original movie was also based in Vienna).The movie will be directed by successful director Roshan Andrews who did blockbusters like 'Udayanu Tharam' and 'Notebook'.
Tamil actor Arya of is going to do his first film in Malayalam.He is a successful artist in Tamil but he is a Malayali from Kasaragod.His actual name is Jamsheed.There are five models and Lakshmi Rai in the film along with other Malayalam artists. The major shoot of the film will be in Vienna in Austria and other European locations, and will start from April 10.Other major roles will be handled by Jagathy Sreekumar, Lalu Alex, Lakshmi Rai and Priyanka.

Casanova is expected to complete with a budget of Rs 10 crore,the highest ever in Malayalam movie industry and is surely will be the costliest Malayalam film ever made.
This movie will be Mohanlal's 2009 Onam release.

Let us wait and see how Mohanlal will handle the Casanova, originally portrayed by Heath Ledger,and his character in the movie was notorious for it's success and promiscuity with women .
