IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication and it tests the complete range of English language skills, which students will commonly encounter when studying or training in English.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is jointly managed by the following bodies.
University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL)
British Council
IDP Education Australia: IELTS Australia.
The IELTS test is conducted by the three educational bodies in partnership.
Results are issued on the 13th day after the day of the test. All candidates will be sent only one copy of the results by courier.

IELTS is required for students applying to study in the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the US ,Medical professionals planning to work or follow further study in the UK, Australia or the US and people planning to emigrate to Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
