Media reports that Bahrain Air plans to run three weekly flights to Calicut in Kerala from March 16 next year.
This is the latest addition of international cariers list to calicut.Many major carriers from Middle east has it's daily flights to Calicut.
The National airline of the United Arab Emirate Etihad started it's daily operation to Calicut (Kozhikode) few months back.
Also Emirates started Six flights a week Dubai-kozhikode (Calicut) flights n July.
In July The first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, Air Arabia, has announced the introduction of daily service between Kozhikode and Sharjah.

This will definitly help the Malayali's working in the middle east especially from Malabar area.
