That will be a proud and great moment for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and India.The countdown for the historic event would begin at 0400 hrs on October 20.India's first unmanned lunar mission, Chandrayaan-1, is scheduled to be launched from Sriharikota at 6.20 am on October 22.PLSV C-11 carrying Chandrayan-I Satelite takes off to the moon from Sriharikotta,at 0620 hrs on October 22.
The spacecraft would carry 11 payloads -- five from India and six from the US, Europe and Bulgaria.
That will be a great moment for India and Indians.India will join the rare group of nations to achieve the glory.
