Another boost to the Kerala's IT dreams.Adding more colours to that.
The third phase of expansion of Technopark at Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) at a cost of Rs 1,500 crore was launched Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan.www.technopark.org
Once this is completed the Technopark will be one among the Major technology hub in India.The third phase will be developed over 92 acres of land.But what about the status of proposed 'Cyber Park' in Kozhikode? What about the IT parks in other districts?

It is expected that the third phase to be operational by 2012 and will be implemented as an IT/ITES Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and when completed. The third phase is expected to provide direct employment opportunities to 35,000 IT/ITeS professionals and indirect employment to about 1,00,000.
Government has to take firm steps to tap IT potential of tier 2 cities like Kozhikode.Let us hope that 'Cyber Park' in Kozhikode will be a reality soon.
