Another central government institute is coming up in Kerala.The Central Government has given final clearance to the setting up of a Marine Police Academy in Kerala.
The Academy will be coming up near the Ezhimala Naval Academy in Kannur.
Kerala government is decided to acquire the required 100 acrees of land for the Marine Police Academy.
This will be another major gain for Kerala as far as the Central Government education policy is concerned. Kerala tried for IIT ,but was not given by the central government.
